At The Cosmetic Lab in Worcester, every lip filler treatment is personalised to you. We consider your natural lip shape, facial proportions and what you would like to achieve before recommending a treatment plan.
Whether you're looking for subtle definition, restored volume, improved symmetry or a fuller appearance, our approach is centred around enhancing your lips while keeping them in balance with the rest of your face.
During your consultation, we'll discuss what you like about your lips, what you would like to change and the type of result you're hoping to achieve.
Your natural anatomy and facial proportions will then be assessed before a treatment plan is recommended.
For some clients, the goal is simply to create a little more definition. Others may want to restore volume that has reduced over time, improve asymmetry or gradually build a fuller lip.
The amount of filler used isn't what determines whether a result looks good. Placement, proportion and understanding when not to add more are just as important.
Lip filler may be considered for clients wanting to:
We'll discuss what's realistically achievable for your individual anatomy during your consultation.

One of the biggest concerns we hear is:
“I want lip filler, but I don't want my lips to look fake.”
Natural-looking lip filler doesn't necessarily mean using the smallest possible amount. It means choosing an appropriate amount and placing it in a way that works with your existing features.
We look at your lips as part of your whole face, rather than treating them in isolation.
For some clients, a very subtle enhancement is appropriate. For others, a fuller result may still look beautifully proportioned.
And if we don't believe that adding more filler would improve your result, we'll tell you.
A 0.5ml treatment may be suitable when you're looking for a subtle enhancement, additional definition or a smaller adjustment to your existing lip shape.
It can also be an option for clients who already have existing volume and don't require a significant change.
A 1ml treatment allows greater flexibility when adding volume, improving shape or working across both lips.
That doesn't mean your lips will automatically look dramatically bigger. The result depends on your starting anatomy, the treatment plan and how the filler is placed.
For some clients, a larger amount may be considered as part of their treatment plan.
However, more filler isn't automatically better.
Where appropriate, we may recommend building your desired result gradually rather than trying to achieve everything during a single appointment.

Your appointment begins with a consultation.
We'll discuss your desired result, relevant medical history, previous aesthetic treatments and any concerns you have.
Your lips and surrounding facial proportions will be assessed and we'll explain the proposed treatment plan before proceeding.
You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss potential risks, expected downtime and aftercare.
Treatment should never feel rushed. We want you to understand what is being recommended and why.

How long an individual result lasts can vary depending on factors such as the product used, amount treated, area, individual metabolism and previous treatments.
Rather than promising that filler will last for a specific period, we'll explain what you can reasonably expect during your consultation.
Maintenance can then be discussed based on how your lips change over time rather than automatically treating them at fixed intervals.
Temporary swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising can occur following lip filler treatment.
This means your lips immediately after treatment aren't necessarily representative of the settled result.
You'll be provided with appropriate aftercare information and guidance about what to expect following your appointment, including when you should contact us if you have any concerns.
Don't judge your final result immediately after treatment. Allow your lips time to settle.

Everyone experiences treatment differently. We'll explain what to expect at your appointment and the measures used to make treatment as comfortable as possible.
Swelling is common following lip filler and can vary between clients. Bruising, tenderness and redness can also occur. Your lips need time to settle before assessing the final appearance.
Previous filler doesn't automatically prevent further treatment, but we need to know what you've had, when it was performed and, where possible, which product was used.
Your lips will be assessed before further treatment is recommended.
In appropriate circumstances, hyaluronic-acid-based dermal filler may be dissolved using hyaluronidase. This is a separate procedure with its own considerations and risks, so an assessment is required before deciding whether dissolving is appropriate.
Yes — subtle enhancement is one of the reasons people consider lip filler.
The aim might simply be improving definition, shape or balance rather than creating noticeably larger lips.
There's no universal answer.
The most appropriate amount depends on your existing lips, previous filler, anatomy and what you're hoping to achieve. We can advise you following assessment.
Not necessarily.
The amount shown on a syringe doesn't tell you what the finished result will look like. Your starting anatomy, placement and treatment plan all matter.
We don't believe in adding filler simply because a certain amount of time has passed.
Your lips should be reassessed and further treatment considered based on your current result and what you would like to achieve.
Choosing an aesthetics practitioner isn't just about choosing a treatment.
It's about feeling confident that you're being listened to, that your individual anatomy is being considered and that you're receiving honest advice about what's appropriate for you.
At The Cosmetic Lab, our approach is centred around personalised treatment planning, natural balance and continued professional education.
The Cosmetic Lab is both an established aesthetics clinic and training academy, and we take pride in creating treatment plans that are individual to each client rather than following trends or using the same approach for everyone.
If we don't believe a treatment is appropriate for you, we'll tell you.
Whether you already know the result you're looking for or you're unsure where to start, your appointment gives us the opportunity to discuss your lips, your concerns and what's realistically achievable.
